    Multi-skilled Assistant (English Mother Tongue)

    Votre mission

    As a multi-skilled assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out various administrative and logistical tasks according to the needs of the team and the firm. You will be part of a team of around twenty lawyers and will work as part of a team with the team's experienced assistant, who will be your day-to-day point of contact.

    Skills required:

    • Personality: We're looking for someone with an outgoing, adaptable personality who's prepared to work with a diverse range of people in a variety of departments and teams. A good ability to listen and to propose new ideas is a major asset for this position.
    • Interpersonal skills: Your interpersonal skills will be essential for your successful integration into the team. You will need to get on well with your mentor.
    • Languages: English Mother-tongue is required, as is your mentor, an experienced person with whom you will work as a team. A very good command of French, both written and spoken, is also required
    • Versatility: Flexibility and ability to adapt to different types of assignments.
    • Thoroughness: Thoroughness in carrying out the tasks assigned is essential to the success of this position. Rigour is required at all levels (execution of assigned tasks, monitoring and reporting, drafting and formatting of documents, etc.).
    • Office skills: Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, DocuSign).
    • Organisational skills: Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, manage priorities.
    • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French, ability to adapt to different people.
    • Experience: No previous experience required. You will be trained by your team and your mentor.

    Training: Ideally (but not necessarily) a degree in management (BTS type), with some knowledge of HR and accounting. However, technical skills are not the main requirement for this position.

    Notre offre

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Administrative management:
      • Processing and management of mail (mainly emails).
      • Coordination of schedules, meetings and organisation of business trips (organising meetings, booking tickets, hotels, etc.).
      • Monitoring client invoicing.
      • Updating and monitoring databases and internal management tools (expense reports, etc.).
    • Communication:
      • Correspondence with English-speaking clients and partners (emails, telephone calls).
      • Oral exchanges in French and English within the team; in French with the rest of the firm.
    • Support for internal teams:
      • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and documents for meetings.
      • Managing internal and external events (seminars, conferences, trade fairs).
      • Assisting with various one-off tasks relating to different projects or requests from the team's lawyers.
    • Client service:
      • Handling incoming calls and client queries (in French and English).
      • Proactively managing requests from the team's lawyers, which can be very varied, often ad hoc and urgent.
      • Coordination with the other departments in the firm (lawyers and assistants in other teams, billing department, accounting department, etc.)
    • Remuneration and benefits:
      • Salary to be defined according to profile and experience.

      • Teleworking: no teleworking during the first year, as full immersion in the team is essential.
