Altana advises Europ Assistance on its investment in PROSENIORS

10/11/2020 - Articles and publications

Europ Assistance, a subsidiary of the Generali Group operating in the field of personal assistance services, has announced an investment in PROSENIORS, a company specializing in assistance and home care for people weakened by age, disability or any transitory problem.

This strategic investment in the vibrant sector of personal home services, and more particularly in the support of “frail people”, is part of the development strategy of the Europ Assistance Group. It illustrates the insurer’s desire to diversify its operations and offer a comprehensive service to people facing a loss of autonomy, bringing together the home care services of PROSENIORS and the telecare and telemedicine of Europ Assistance, which has been a leader in the field for 25 years.

PROSENIORS and its present management will continue to pursue a strong development of its operations. It is already well established in France with 21 branches, mainly in the Paris area and in the south east, notably in the Hérault département, and in the Bordeaux region.

Together, the two companies are well placed to become a key and innovatory player on the French home care market.

The handling of this operation is yet another demonstration of the expertise of Altana’s lawyers in dealing with strategic operations.
