Litigation trainee - S1 2027

ADVANT Altana is seeking an intern for its Commercial and Corporate Litigation department.

The team you will be joining supports a client base comprising French and international clients (industrial groups, insurers, banks, investment funds and company directors) in preventing and resolving their most sensitive disputes.

Its areas of expertise include, in particular, contractual and commercial disputes (breaches of contract, unfair competition, abrupt terminations of commercial relationships), acquisition disputes and shareholder disputes (liability warranties, price adjustments and top-ups), civil and criminal liability of directors, and industrial disputes.

Your responsibilities:

As part of a close-knit team and working directly with shareholders and associates, you will play an active role in handling a variety of cases, often with an international dimension. Your responsibilities will include, in particular:

• In-depth legal research in business law, the law of obligations, commercial law, and civil procedure;
• Drafting legal documents: analytical notes, memoranda, submissions, letters, and client correspondence;
• Participating in the various stages of cases: developing litigation strategy, preparing for hearings, and monitoring proceedings;
• Working closely with the whole team in a stimulating and educational environment.
