    Philippe Goossens, partner and criminal defense lawyer at ALTANA, will speak at an “Anti-corruption” workshop on October 29, 2016 as part of the 60th UIA Congress in Budapest


    Compliance: Challenges and opportunities for the legal profession” will be one of the main themes of this year’s edition of the UIA Annual Congress.

     

    A particularly timely subject, with the first implementations of the 4th European Union Directive on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.

     

    At this occasion, Philippe Goossens,  partner and criminal defense lawyer at Altana, will speak at a workshop dedicated to the fight against corruption, on October 29, 2016.

     

    How can a company protect itself against the risks of corruption? What are the most effective measures to take in terms of governance and prevention? How to react when faced with possible involvement? These are some of the questions that will be analyzed from both the corporate and criminal law points of view.
