    The expansion of the protection of professional secrecy attched to attorney-client correspondence in companies.

    Via an extensive interpretation of the notion of attorney-client correspondence, the Paris Court of Appeal, in a judgement of November 8, 2017, expanded the scope of the protection of the professional secrecy of attorney-client correspondences: the "legal privilege".

     

    Marie Hindré, Partner at Altana and specialist in competition law, comments the judgement in an article published on January 29, 2018 by the Lettre des Juristes d'Affaires.
