Michel Jockey is highly respected by market sources for his long-standing experience in complex litigations and in French restructuring and insolvency files. He specializes in the prevention and treatment of companies facing financial difficulties, mainly involving large-scale operations of major French and international groups. His clients also rely on his expertise in the area of external growth, sales operations and strategic corporate litigation.
He actively participates in working groups organized under the auspices of the First President of the Paris Court of Appeals. The first group was charged with improving the tools provided to legal practitioners for the evaluation of eco-nomic damages. The Paris Court of Appeals published the group’s first work, a handbook of practical factsheets. Following the publication of the group’s finding, he was asked to join a new working group dedicated to analysing the issues of Business Secrecy. Over the past two decades Mr. Jockey has been consistently and regularly recognized by Chambers Europe, Legal 500, Best Lawyers and other leading guides.
Partner at Rambaud Martel (now Orrick), he joined Salans (now Dentons) in 2006 and was among the founding partners of Advant Altana since 2009. Practicing law since 1978, Michel graduated from the Institute of Judicial Studies of the Paris Universities.
