    Further Guidance from the CJEU on E-health

    By recently ruling that a drug prescription assistance software qualified as a medical device, the CJEU has indirectly sent a reminder to IT companies seeing new opportunities in health care that their technology may fall under EU regulation.

     

    Frank Valentin and Charlotte Hébert-Salomon analyse the December 7, 2017 ruling and its consequences for the certification of electronic medical apps and software in an article published in the April 2018  issue of American Lawyer, entitled "Further Guidance from the CJEU on E-health".
