    Expertise

    Mana Rassouli, Partner and member of the Paris bar, specializes in guiding distressed French and international corporations, as well as their shareholders and creditors, through judicial or prevention restructurings. She also provides knowledgeable, value-driven advice to investors seeking opportunities, includ-ing in distressed businesses.

    Mana draws on her broad experience in French and European restructuring and insolvency law to handle complex prevention proceedings (mandat ad hoc and conciliation) and insolvency proceedings (safeguard, reorganization and liquidation proceeding).

    Mana has also significant experience in distressed M&A, insolvency proceed-ings litigation both during and after the restructuring, and more generally on all types of commercial litigation. 

    Mana is a member of several professional organizations, including INSOL and WIR (Women in Restructuring).

    Promoted to Partner at ADVANT Altana in 2019, she holds a Master’s in inter-national law and Management (HEC Business School) and a master’s degree in Common Law Systems (Paris II Panthéon-Assas University).

    • Preventive and judicial handling of difficulties (such as assistance in diagnosing the debtor’s difficulties, support during pre-insolvency of insolvency proceedings);
    • Operational and/or financial restructuring and debt renegotiation.
    • Distressed acquisition (such as identification of targets, presentation of takeover bids, monitoring of takeover operations);
    • Litigation relating to insolvency proceedings (such as liability of directors, cancellation of acts concluded during the suspect period);
    • Contractual negotiations and civil and commercial litigation (such as disputes between shareholders, unfair competition, brutal termination of commercial relations, application of commercial leases);
    • Cross-border transactions (such as insolvency proceedings and international litigation).
