    Real Estate

Real estate is a key pillar of economic growth and progress across Europe, representing both a hugely influential industry as well as a substantive and complex area of law. Our member firms offer significant expertise in all facets of the real estate sector to help clients achieve their goals and overcome their challenges.

In the real estate arena, our team offers a 360-degree perspective and approach to advise on all major asset classes, such as commercial, industrial, living and alternative living (senior living, student housing, short renting, PRS, etc.), logistics, healthcare, hospitality, office, retail, and high street retail. We advise on a vast array of issues, including acquisition or sale of single assets or portfolios, leases (whether of assets or business), management agreements, project planning, and development.

We offer significant capability and expertise in the specialist area of construction law, project management, and monitoring, advising in any related activity. We also regularly advise clients regarding issues related to town planning and provide experts to meet our clients’ needs.

We frequently deal with issues related to fund formation as well as to the creation of real estate funds, REITS, SPVs and other regulated vehicles. Furthermore, due to the strong links with ADVANT’s other practice areas, we are able to advise on a range of related issues such as acquisition finance, environmental, ESG, and tax.

Our multidisciplinary team brings together corporate, real estate, tax, and environmental lawyers and professionals with vast industry experience in relation to each single issue to be dealt with. We work with clients on a variety of assets and properties, and understand the complex business and legal issues which can affect any specific asset class. We help to manage these challenges with the aims of reducing risk, implementing best practices and securing a satisfactory outcome for the client.

When disputes arise – whether involving landlords, lessees, investors or contractors – our top-notch team of specialists work with clients to achieve the right outcome, whether that’s achieved through the courts or by alternative dispute resolution methods.
