Admitted to the Paris Bar since 1995, Philippe Goossens is a recognised and experienced litigation lawyer. He specialises in criminal financial and social disputes involving major groups and French and international personalities.
Since the firm was founded, he has developed a team dedicated to corporate criminal law, which now comprises seven solicitors, including two partners, and one assistant. In this regard, the addition of Gildas ROBERT, who co-leads the team, reflects a desire to develop the team and a conviction that the future belongs to the youngest talents.
This notion of teamwork is a reality among the lawyers in the team, but it also translates into a close relationship with clients and a desire to be their true partners in managing their development and their existing or future risks.
Philippe is also convinced that being a good business criminal lawyer requires not only a solid knowledge of criminal procedure and criminal law, but also good instincts in other areas and an openness to other non-legal disciplines (arts, sport, geopolitics, etc.).
Thanks to the trust of its clients, the team has the opportunity to handle criminal cases in many areas regulated by criminal law (financial, environmental, labour law, economic law, etc.), of varying sizes, in litigation and advisory matters, particularly on aspects of CSR and Sapin II, leading to acting as defence counsel and civil party.
Philippe has been recognised by corporate lawyers and his peers in all the leading guides in France and abroad, and is committed to speaking and publishing articles on topics of interest to his clients in order to contribute to current debates.
Philippe is Vice-President of the Criminal Law Commission and President of the French Committee of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA), a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and involved in issues relating to the development of the profession.
