Philippe de Saint-Bauzel is a graduate of Panthéon Sorbonne University (DESS in business law and taxation, 1991). He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1995.
Philippe de Saint-Bauzel advises his French and international clients, mainly in the life sciences, distribution, services, heavy industry and luxury sectors, on all aspects of their day-to-day issues and more particularly on the structuring of their acquisitions and the optimization of their post-acquisition reorganizations.
Philippe de Saint-Bauzel assists his clients in tax litigations (which he considers to be a management tool for the company’s tax strategy) throughout the pre-litigation and litigation process, in their disagreements with the tax authorities. He has a strong expertise in the management and monitoring of his clients’ transfer pricing, which he considers to be a central point of discussion with the tax authorities within international groups.
Prior to joining ADVANT Altana, he was a partner at the US law firm Squire Patton Boggs for almost 18 years and at Fidal, PWC and EY Law. Philippe de Saint-Bauzel is a member of the IFA (International Fiscal Association).
