    Altana advises the Covea group

Altana advises the Covea Group in the renewal of its bancassurance partnership with the BPCE Group and Natixis

The Covea Group and the BPCE Group, bancassurance partners since 1994 for non-life insurance, have concluded agreements for the implementation of a renewed partnership as of January 1, 2020, relating to occupational risk insurance for the clients of Caisses d'Epargne et Banques Populaires.

As part of this renewed partnership, the joint subsidiary BPCE IARD, jointly owned by Natixis Assurances and the Covea Group, will continue to cover the occupational risks of the two networks' clients, which is in perfect alignment with the Covea Group's strategic plan "COVE@VENIR 2021".  A system has also been put in place to manage contracts entered into before December 31, 2019 by individual clients of Banques Populaires, which will continue to be managed by the Covea Group .

Altana's team, which works closely with Covéa's Legal and Financial departments, in particular, is composed of Gilles Gaillard (Partner) and Julie Rolet (Counsel) for all of the corporate and insurance matters,  Frédéric Manin (Partner) and Lucie Giret (Counsel) on competition, and Louis Thibierge, Professeur agrégé of Law, on contractual aspects.

This transaction is another demonstration of Altana's teams' expertise in the insurance industry.

BPCE and Natixis were advised by De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, with Guillaume Touttée, Thomas Forin, Laetitia Gavoty and Priscilla Van Den Perre.
