Jean-Nicolas Soret has been practicing M&A for the past 25 years, with a particular focus on private cross-border transactions. His expertise includes acquisitions and sales of companies, strategic partnerships and joint venture agreements, divestment of non-core assets, majority and minority investments, group and shareholding structure reorganizations, as well as corporate governance.
He has a specific focus in the high tech, biotech, renewable energy and food industries. ALDI, AIR FRANCE, LEXIS NEXIS, EUREDEN, MARSH and TUI are among his clients.
Jean-Nicolas Soret is a member of the ADVANT board of directors and steering committee, alongside representatives from ADVANT Nctm in Italy and ADVANT Beiten in Germany.
He is an active member of the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association and of the French Institute of Directors (Institut Français des Administrateurs).
Before joining ADVANT Altana as a partner in 2010, Jean-Nicolas Soret was a partner at REED SMITH LLP.
