ADVANT Altana advises Ciclad on its acquisition of a majority stake in Episod

The investment fund Ciclad has become the main shareholder of Episod, a premium network of gyms, with the aim of accelerating its development.

ADVANT Altana advised Ciclad on this LBO transaction, also supported by BNP Paribas Développement, which marks a new stage in Episod's growth.

Founded in 2017, Episod is expanding rapidly thanks to its unique positioning in the boutique gym market segment. With Ciclad's support, Episod plans to increase its network in the Île-de-France region initially, with prospects for national and even international expansion. The deal also includes a unitranche debt structured by Socadif, designed to optimize the company's financial resources while preserving its investment capacity.
